Course Objectives
This Emergency Preparedness course was developed to achieve a proactive stance to emergencies as opposed to a reactive stance. The goal is to prevent an emergency before it happens. However, we do encounter emergency situations on occasion and we need to be prepared to deal with the circumstances of an emergency appropriately by phoning 9-1-1 and administering first aid or CPR while keeping yourself and others safe. By getting an entire site's employees/members on the same page, you will begin to see safety ratings raise and reaction time during an emergency, lower.
