ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Course Description
ACLS utilizes American Heart Association curriculum which covers the ten core ACLS cases. The information provided in this training is vital to anyone working in the healthcare field who needs the most current guidelines as well as maintain this certification as a function of their job requirements. Upon successful completion each participant will be given an American Heart Association ACLS Provider card, valid for 2 years.
Course Length, Content, & Cost
The ACLS course runs between 8 and 16 hrs. depending on class size. This course includes instructor-led discussions, instructor-led practice scenarios, and peer practice sessions. Knowledge assessment is 2-part, a written exam, as well as a skills assessment will be performed by each participant. ACLS is offered as a full Provider course and as a renewal course.
